Update 1.3.0
AZAZEL » Devlog
I wanted to make this update years ago. The last time I updated AZAZEL was in 2020, the day before the COVID lockdown began. It's 2023 now and I wanted to finished what I intended to finish.
- Added scary music when you are in town. This is the most important change. I've always felt like the visuals alone weren't disturbing enough. If you've been to a seder, you might recognize the tune.
- Reverted graphical "improvements" from the previous version(1.2) to the version before it (1.1). I reverted the font to Frank Ruhl from Inconsolata because I think a serif font fits the mood better. I removed the auto-window scaling feature because it's difficult to do this with Frank Ruhl, and re-implemented the --big flag. I reverted all color scheme changes in 1.2 back to 1.1 because I think the muddier look fits the tone of the game better.
- Lowered the volume of the intro music.
- Added attribution to the intro. I should've done this long ago.
